How to participate in the Blueshift IDO
Apr 2, 2022
Since the launch of Blueshift’s tokens is performed via the OccamRazer launchpad, potential IDO participants will need to create a Metamask wallet if they don’t have one, and top up the wallet with BNB.
IDO participants will need BNB because Binance Smart Chain will be utilized for Blueshift’s IDO. Read here on how to set up your Metamask wallet so it is compatible with the Binance Smart Chain. The aforementioned compatibility is necessary not just to participate in the IDO, but for the IDO registration as well which is performed by clicking register on the Blueshift OccamRazer tab.
Keep in mind, to be able to register, one must pass the Occam.fi’s KYC process, as well as stake at least 150 OCC via the OccamRazer staking tab.
It is likewise imperative to connect your Cardano address to your metamask address — via Occam.fi’s UI — by clicking the orange wallet positioned right next to the ‘Logout’ button. Both can be found in the upper-right corner of OccamRazer’s UI.

Follow the instructions and paste your Cardano address! If an IDO participant does not follow-through with this step, it will not be possible to distribute BLUES tokens to this individual.
Approximately 24 hours before the IDO the random draw will be performed that will determine which IDO participants get to participate first, as well as the order of participation for all other participants. At this moment, all IDO participants that have registered will be able to find out their allocated time of participation as well as the individual IDO allocation — in BNB. To find out yours, visit the Blueshift IDO tab with your Metamask connected to the UI — approximately 24 hours before the IDO.
It is expected not everyone that has staked OCC will get a chance to get BLUES as the IDO pools on OccamRazer usually hardcap before or during Wave 5. To ensure a better positioning in the IDO participation ‘line’ — stake more OCC.
Staking different amounts of OCC grants different tiers and their respective allocations in OccamRazer IDOs.
A comprehensive list of tiers, OCC staking threshold that triggers individual tier benefits, as well as the average IDO allocation per tier, is as follows:
- Mount Everest — 10,000 OCC — 3,000 $
2. K-2–4000 OCC — 1,400 $
3. Fuji — 1000 OCC — 1,125 $
4. Elbrus — 500 OCC — 650 $
5. Mont Blanc — 150 OCC — 375 $
The average allocation provided above is an estimated average across all Occam.fi’s IDOs, and will vary on the Blueshift IDO. Read more about OccamRazer tiers here.
Readers take note, the asset provision for the IDO will happen via the BSC, however, the IDO participants will receive BLUES Cardano Native Tokens on the Cardano address they have registered via Occam’s KYC process. To open the menu visible in the screenshot below — click on the three short parallel lines(hamburger) in the top right corner of the Occam.fi website.

If you wish to be prepared to participate in the Blueshift’s IDO you must perform these activities:
• Acquire at least 150 OCC
• Stake OCC
• Pass the OccamRazer KYC process
• Register for the Blueshift IDO
• Acquire BNB
• Store BNB in a Metamask wallet — in the amount that you wish to exchange for BLUES
• Connect your Cardano address with your Metamask wallet address
Additionally, you must prepare by observing when your IDO ’wave’ begins and ends. If you miss your assigned wave, you will not be able to acquire BLUES on Blueshift’s IDO.
A list of IDO participants, that are denoted as shortened BSC addresses, and their assigned waves — is published approximately 24 hours before the IDO — on Occam.fi’s social media channels.
IDO participants should be aware that there is a lock-up period for tokens. There will be no cliff period, however, IDO tokens will be vested for a period of 3 months. Initial unlock will provide 25 % of tokens acquired via the IDO, whilst each month after that, an additional 25 % of tokens will be released to the IDO participants.
Random draw mechanism and tiers
The random draw mechanism performs the random assignment of IDO access to KYC’d addresses — according to the so-called ‘participation multiple’ which each user possesses. Each user’s participation multiple is determined by his or hers Occam.fi tier.
The higher the participation multiple — the higher the chance to get assigned to wave 1, or close to wave 1. This consequently results in a higher chance to participate in an IDO. Participation multiples are often colloquially called ‘tickets’.
Occam.fi users in Fuji tier have their stake weighted for participation multiples. This means a Fuji tier user with 1000 OCC staked receives 4 ‘tickets’, a user with 1250 OCC staked receives 5 ‘tickets’, and a user with 3850 OCC receives 15 ‘tickets’ — which is the maximum number of tickets a user can have. The user in the Fuji tier does not have to stake 250 OCC tokens in increments to receive each ‘ticket’. This is calculated automatically upon the user’s entry into the random draw mechanism.
Users that are in tier 4 — the Elbrus tier, receive 2 tickets, and users that are in tier 5, which is called the Mont Blanc tier — receive 1 ticket.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 OccamRazer users have automatic access to every IDO.
Every IDO has its own whitelist with wave assignment and participants that belong in tier 3 to tier 5. Luck in past IDOs does not affect future wave assignment. Registered Tier1 and Tier2 OCC stakers are automatically placed in the whitelist and the first wave.
A user has to acquire & stake a minimum amount of 150 OCC in order to get a chance to participate in the Blueshift IDO.
Readers take note: this does not mean or imply guaranteed access.
Guaranteed access is unlocked by staking more than 4000 OCC via OccamRazer’s staking panel.
Participants of each wave, including wave 1 which is mostly composed of Tier 1 and Tier 2 stakers — get half an hour to perform the asset provision into the IDO pool, which means anyone that misses their assigned wave will not have the ability to get BLUES via IDO.
Consequently, when an IDO participant loses his or her allocation, this allocation is in essence passed onto the less lucky IDO participants waiting in later waves.
